UK Trip -- I Love Edinburgh! 15th - 16th March

We reached Edinburgh after a grueling 13-hour overnight bus ride... super tiring to ride overnight sia.. cannot sleep well... but the moment we reach Edinburgh.. become super awake liaoz.. the city is soooo beautiful! reminds you of a medival city in the 18th century.. (of cos u hv to be in the Old Town which we were la..)

We booked a tour at the tourist information centre and walked towards the Edinburgh castle, along the way we came across the Princes St. Gardens... nicest garden i've seen in Europe manz.. (Versailles definitely can fight.. but tt day I went Versailles it was raining.. so disqualified)

From the gardens, there were several pathways leading up to the top of the hill to right outside the castle.

near the top.. can see v v far.. all the way to the Firth of Fourth River that runs through Edinburgh.. its a v v nice and quiet spot to see the city and its sights...
took lotsa photos.. really really alot... what u saw here are is only 10% of it.

Upon reaching the Holyrood palace... we saw this super big plateau...
i got so excited i entirely forgot abt the royal palace
(and the Scottish funky parliament building)..

THE NEXT DAY

went for out 28 pounds bus tour of Scotland to see
Loch Ness & Urqhart Castle!

sights along the way on the bus... too bad it was raining quite heavily..
haiz.. else the scenery could be alot nicer...

URQHART CASTLE & LOCH NESS

our tour guide say there've been several expeditions
by universities and research institutes at the lake..

and guess how much it costs... S$24 !!! *faintz*
we din know wat it was til we ordered.. haiz.. even i can cook tt lor!
